Premium Power - Dublin Airport Authority

Enterprise Energy Management System

The Dublin Airport Authority had installed a number of energy and power management systems throughout their facilities at Dublin Airport. These included energy meters and monitoring used to provide a budgetary division of their buildings and ground power units.

The authority wished to integrate all of information gathered by these systems into one facility energy management and billing system.

Premium Power (www.premiumpower.ie) was chosen to design, supply and integrate a bespoke energy management software solution, which could achieve this goal automatically.

This Premium Power energy management software solution is based on the now popular ES software system developed by the company. ES is a powerful Web enabled solution which can be viewed and used by any authorised managers within a facility, through their web browsers

The system can also be used across multiple sites or enterprises that share the same wide area network.

In addition to energy management, the system can be used to gather and report reliability statistics on electrical power and networks for mission critical systems.

AUTOMATIC DATA GATHERING AND BILLING

The Premium Power energy management system installed at DAA gathers data from a large number of metered locations across the site. It integrates with external systems and extracts consumption data from these.

The system has been customised to integrate with DAA sub billing systems to facilitate the budget splitting of gas, electricity and water utilities.
